Nobis Agri Science is pleased to welcome Logan Zanzalari as a Dairy Nutrition and Management Consultant. Logan joins the team with a background in dairy nutrition and forage management (field to feed bunk).

Logan is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in Ag Sales and Marketing. He will be joining the Nobis Agri Science team in February 2022 after 4.5 years in the Northeast Ohio region.

Upon graduating Logan went to work for a local cooperative in Ohio where he built his experience and knowledge in dairy nutrition and on forage management (field to feed bunk). He takes a hands-on approach with his clients and likes to use numbers to make data driven decisions in order to promote efficiency and profitability.

Logan appreciates the diversity of the dairy industry and enjoys that each day brings new challenges. His strong work ethic and communication skills lead him to have success and provide solutions for his clients. Outside of work Logan enjoys spending time with friends and family, sporting events, and getting outdoors as much as possible.

We are confident that Logan will be a strong asset to our nutrition team and look forward to the expertise he will bring to our clients and our team.

Getting to Know Logan…

What do you love the most about the dairy industry?
I really enjoy the people that make up this industry. Everyone is their own person and it is always fun to hear about people’s different experiences and backgrounds. Whether it be suppliers, or people that work on dairies, there is always something to learn.

What do you see as the biggest challenge in todays industry?
I think the dairy supply chain is a big challenge, especially in the world of the pandemic. From an on-farm perspective, I see opportunities to improve on efficiencies. There is a lot of technology that has helped us move in the right direction and I think there will be more to come.

What is your favorite dairy product?
Chocolate milk! It always has been, and always will be. There is just nothing that beats it.

What is the best piece of professional advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve received is to listen. As an industry, we are looking for ways to move forward. However, I don’t think there is one cookie cutter way to do so. Even though there are always ways to improve, it might look a little differently for each person or business. Listening is the only way to understand how to accomplish that.
